Prairie Hill Farms Ltd. is a CFIA licensed food processing facility located 2.5 miles east of Picture Butte. We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team! 

Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

·        Setting Objectives and Communicating them to Employees

·        Organizing Workflow, Overseeing and Coaching Employees

·        Operating Packaging and Filling Equipment

·        Ensure the Safe use of Equipment and Schedule Regular Maintenance

·        Check production Output and Submit Reports on Performance and Progress

·        Identify issues in Efficiency and Suggest Improvements

·        Train New employees on GMP and follow production procedures

·        Understand and Implement Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Systems

·        Enforce Strict Safety and Quality Guidelines that meet Company Standards

·        Maintain Production Records ensuring Accuracy and Validity of Information

·        Monitor level of Supplies and handle Shortages

·        Maintain Trusting Relationships with Suppliers, Customers and Colleagues

Requirements:

·        2 years’ Experience in a Similar Role within a Food Processing Facility

·        Experience using Various types of Manufacturing Machinery and Tools

·        Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills with the Ability to Lead a Team

·        Excellent time Management and Multi-tasking Ability

·        Meticulous Attention to Detail and Organization

·        Self motivated with Ability to take Initiative and set up Systems & Processes

·        Computer Competency with Proficiency in MS Office

·        Ability to Understand and Complete basic Calculations

We Offer:

·        Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with overtime as required (no weekends)

·        $27 / hour
