Automation Maintenance Manager

Taber/Vauxhall, AB

Responsibilities:

·        Perform Preventative, Corrective, and Emergency Maintenance on Industrial Equipment and Machinery

·        Develop and Proactively Maintain Preventative Maintenance Schedules to Ensure Equipment and Facilities are Properly Maintained to Minimize Downtime and Disruption.

·        Inspect, Troubleshoot, Diagnose and Repair Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Building, and other Equipment and Systems including Conveyors, Pumps, Motors, Production and Packaging Equipment, and other Industrial Machinery

·        Install, Assemble, Align, Commission and modify Machinery and Mechanical Systems

·        Maintain Accurate Records of Maintenance Activities, Repairs, Inspections, and Equipment Servicing

·        Maintain Inventory of Maintenance Supplies, Parts, Tools, and Equipment

·        Maintain Compliance with Company Policies, Health & Safety Requirements, Reporting, and all applicable Regulations

·        Maintain Communication with other Departments to ensure Efficiency and Workflow

·        Work Independently while Communicating Effectively with other Team Members and Maintaining a Positive and Accountable Work Environment

Requirements:

·        Minimum 3 Years Experience in Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing, or Process Environments

·        Experience with Electrical, Welding, Fabrication, Cutting, and General Repairs as Required

·        Excellent Leadership Skills and People Management Skills

·        Adaptable, Forward Thinking and Level-Headed

·        Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Troubleshooting Skills

·        Excellent Computer Skills and an Ability to Read and Interpret Mechanical Drawings, Blueprints, Manuals, and Schematics

·        Excellent Communication, Attention to Detail and Ability Follow Through

·        Solutions Focused, Problem Solving Nature

·        Results Oriented, Self-Motivated

·        Strong Organization and Time Management Skills while Managing Multiple Priorities in a Fast-Paced Environment

·        Ability to lift 50lbs

·        Journeyperson Millwright / Industrial Mechanic Certification as Asset but not required
