Academic Writing / BComm Instructor Wanted at MCG Career College

Are you passionate about teaching and have a knack for writing? MCG Career College is seeking a dedicated Academic Writing Instructor to join our team. This is an online remote position with 4-hour shifts (M-F) or 10-hour shifts (Weekends). Courses are 1 – 4 weeks per assignment

Class times MST:

• Morning – 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Afternoon – 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Evenings – 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM – Majority of Teaching Assignments
• Weekends – 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging online writing courses.
• Provide personalized feedback on student assignments.
• Create lesson plans and educational materials.
• Monitor student progress and offer support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Master’s or PhD. Preferred
• International Education must be verified by IQAS/WES
• 1-year minimum experience in teaching writing or a related subject.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Strong understanding of APA academic writing standards
• Experience with the Moodle LMS is an asset

Compensation:

• $27-$31.00/hour
