Human Resources Manager
We are looking for a Human Resources Professional that will lead our HR team.
Responsibilities:
· Implement HR processes utilizing the systems available to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
· Coach and train site management regarding HR processes and provide HR support in non-union and unionized environments and advise site management on HR issues, discipline, and other HR processes
· Streamline recruitment practices while being ‘hands-on’ with the hiring process
· Support management in addressing and resolving personnel issues
· Develop and oversee an effective WCB claim management process
· Adherence to the collective agreements for 3 separate agreements
· Administration of the established Health and Safety Program and corresponding documentation
Requirements:
· Experience in an HR role including recruitment, WCB Management, Workforce Relations, and Performance Management
· Process driven with ability to develop systems to ensure consistency and efficiency
· Self-motivated with strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work effectively in a constantly changing environment
· Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills
· Ability to prioritize and work under pressure to meet deadlines
· Ability to work independently
· Strong technology skills, with the ability to understand and implement an HR program to streamline processes
· Experience working with unions and collective agreements an asset
· Relevant post-secondary education and CHRP designation an asset
We Offer:
· $75K-95K annually
· Comprehensive benefits package and pension
· Monday – Friday: 37.5-hour work week, with occasional after hour events
· Team-based, supportive work environment
