We are a Cattle Broker located in Southern Alberta serving Alberta, Saskatchewan, and B.C. We are looking for a new team member in the role of:

Livestock Cost & Inventory Analyst

*Accounting Acumen Required

This integral role handles the documentation regarding the Purchase, Sale, & Inventory Control of All Owned and Brokered Cattle.

Responsibilities:

·        Administer the Documentation for the Purchase and Sale of Cattle

·        Maintain and Record Inventory Movement

·        Analysis and Projections for Transactions

·        Maintain Processing Records

·        Review, Verify and Maintain Feed Bills

·        Communicate with both Customers and Vendors

·        Various Administrative Duties, as required

Requirements:

·        Background in Accounting 

·        Certificate or Diploma in an Accounting Related Field an asset

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

·        Strong Understanding of Mathematical Equations with an ability to Accurately Calculate Transactions

·        Customer Service Focused with Excellent Communication Skills

·        Keen Eye for Detail with Strong Follow Through

·        Positive and Willing Attitude with a Desire to Learn and Grow

·        Self-Directed and Organized; with a Focus on Efficiency

·        Ability to Manage Constantly Changing Priorities

·        Experience in the Cattle Industry an Asset

·        Strong Desire for Long-Term Employment

We Offer:

·        $65,000 - $75,000 Annually

·        Benefits Package

·        Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week. Additional hours may be required during peak season.
